2.2.2 Partitioning to the Air Compartment

Ethylbenzene is a volatile substance with a vapour pressure of 950 Pa at 20 °C.

The relatively high Henry’s Law Constant (calculated 480 – 660 Pa.m³/mol at 20 °C) indicates that evaporation from hydrosphere to atmosphere is the most significant environmental transport mechanism for ethylbenzene.
